Deployment using Manager

Deploying a folder (exploded archive) / from a remote location:

        Open the Manger. Click here to see how to open manager

        Enter the following details below

        Context Path:  /appName

        XML Configuration file URL:  path to web.xml

        WAR or Directory URL: path to the directory

Click on deploy.

On Successful deployment you should see the below message.

Deploying a war file:
       You can follow the above method to deploy a war file even.

       Open the Manger. Click here to see how to open manager

       Select the war file to deploy.

On Successful deployment you should see the below message.
